Emma Westlake Counselling & Supervision
Hello, I'm Emma.
I'm a therapeutic counsellor providing counselling for adults, couples, children, and young people. Alongside my counselling work, I'm a clinical supervisor supporting qualified and trainee counsellors, a role that reflects my expertise, experience, and commitment to safe, ethical, and thoughtful therapeutic practice.
Since qualifying in 2011, I've had the privilege of supporting people through many of life's challenges, including anxiety, bereavement, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, life transitions, loss, and feelings of being stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected.
I believe that having a safe space to talk can make a real difference. My role isn't to tell you what to do or offer quick fixes, but to provide a warm, supportive environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace and make sense of what's happening in your life.
As someone who lives and works locally, I feel incredibly fortunate to be able to offer this support within the community that I call home. Whether you're seeking counselling for yourself, your child, your relationship, or looking for professional supervision, you'll be met with warmth, respect, and genuine care.
Everyone deserves a place where they can be themselves and feel truly heard.
